Hand in Hand for Friendship

The Youth Exchange “Mano a Mano para amistad” will meet two in one: education in Europe using non-formal methodology and awareness among youth about the importance of children & youth. In any project we will try to achieve an objective: social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and families of lower economic status and always being aware of that. This Youth Exchange promoting diversity will bring together 50 young people aged mainly between 17 and 26 from Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia y Herzegovina, Algeria, Egypt, Palestinian Authority of the West Bank and Gaza strip, Israel, Turkey, and Spain. The activities will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, from 24 to 29 of May, 2011.

Canary Islands: Citizens Towards a United Europe

is a 6 days training course in which will gather 30 young people, from 13 European countries, who are actively involved or willing to get involved into youth work and support the development of youth NGOs in Europe by extending knowledge and competences to integrate European Citizenship within projects. The programme will consist of workshops, debates, study visits, lectures, group works, simulations games, interviews in the streets, creating short documentary and other activities linked to European Citizenship.

Centro Intercultural Ideas de Colores is a non profit association focused on providing services, specialized on cultural and social education, international mobility and European projects and aimed to facilitate access to initiatives and programs in local, national, European as well as International level. Our target group are young people and adults, public and private organizations, thanks to complete offer of help services, promotion and development of projects.
